Basic supplies

When you leave the U.S., you are at risk of special health hazards specific to the continent you are visiting. This can include specific insect bites, diseases, and infection from plants. Worse, medical clinics in some areas can be inaccessible, or poor quality, and staff may be unable to communicate in English. An appropriately stocked travel kit is a must. Following is a suggested list of items:
